0] Step Zero should be a given. READ THE RULES!!
1] The first step to getting started is registering an account using the buttons at the top of the page. When signing up for a username remember that you'll have to type it in every time you log in. It is easiest to go with the name of your character (if you know what it is going to be) since you can only play one character from your account.
2] Next, you'll want to fill out a Character Application. You can apply as a CSI, an Investigator, or a Coroner, just remember that no canon characters are allowed. Once you've filled it out, post your completed app as a new thread in the Pending Profiles board. You can also see examples of profiles in the Accepted Profiles board.
3]The next step is to apply for the shift or job you want in the Jobs and Promotions board. There you can stake your claim to that job you've had your eye on. If we're currently accepting leader applications and you feel like trying your hand, you can do that in the Leader Applications board.
4] Step four is completely optional. If you have an actor, musician, or athlete in mind as the face of your character, you can claim them in the Face Claim thread.
After that, all thats left is to start posting! Welcome to the CSI:Boston team!
